Golf holiday in Agadir – sunshine, Atlantic views and three great golf courses

Agadir is one of those destinations that makes it easy to combine a golf holiday in Morocco with sunshine, the Atlantic coast and genuine Moroccan atmosphere. This package includes 7 nights at Grand Dominium with breakfast and 3 green fees at Golf du Soleil, Golf Les Dunes and Tazegzout Golf.

Three different golf courses during a one-week stay is, in my view, a great combination. There is plenty of golf to enjoy, but you are not rushing from one tee time to the next every day. There is still enough time for the beach, Agadir, good food or simply relaxing by the pool.

Grand Dominium – a comfortable base for your Agadir golf holiday

The Grand Dominium provides a convenient base for a golf break in Agadir. Start the day with breakfast, head out for your round and still have plenty of time afterwards to enjoy the destination.

With three rounds during a seven-night stay, the itinerary has a relaxed rhythm.

After all, golf may be an important part of the holiday – but it shouldn't stop feeling like a holiday.

Three green fees – three different golf experiences

Golf du Soleil

Golf du Soleil is one of Agadir's established golf venues. Palm trees, water hazards and well-maintained fairways create a classic resort-golf atmosphere.

It is enjoyable to play but still rewards a sensible strategy. Pulling out the driver on every possible hole isn't necessarily the quickest route to a good score. Good course management can save quite a few shots here.

Golf Les Dunes

Golf Les Dunes adds another character to the week. The course blends nicely into its surroundings and features several holes where positioning is more important than pure distance.

For me, that's exactly what you want during a golf holiday in Agadir: a course that can be enjoyed by different handicaps while still offering enough challenge to keep experienced golfers interested.

Tazegzout Golf – the highlight of the trip

My personal highlight of this package is Tazegzout Golf.

Located north of Agadir and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the course offers some fantastic coastal views. But Tazegzout is certainly more than just a pretty backdrop for holiday photos.

Elevation changes, strategically positioned hazards and challenging greens mean you need to think your way around the course. Precision and good course management can be more valuable than simply trying to hit the ball as far as possible.

And if the scorecard takes a turn for the worse, the Atlantic views make a double bogey slightly easier to accept.

Golf and Morocco – a great combination

One of the major advantages of a golf holiday in Morocco is the combination of golf and genuine holiday time. After your round, you can enjoy the beach, explore Agadir, discover Moroccan cuisine or simply relax.

With three green fees during seven nights, there is also plenty of time to experience more of Agadir and the surrounding area.

My verdict as a golfer

If you are looking for a golf holiday in Agadir that combines interesting courses, Moroccan sunshine and enough free time to enjoy the destination away from the fairways, this is a very well-balanced package.

Golf du Soleil and Les Dunes provide two enjoyable and varied rounds, while Tazegzout Golf is, for me, the scenic and golfing highlight of the trip.

7 nights, 3 different golf courses and plenty of Moroccan sunshine – an Agadir golf holiday where the score is only part of the experience.
